DANIELLE IMAN

 

Danielle is a former athlete turned drama writer/producer from Alexandria, Virginia. After graduating from The University of Virginia where she studied Spanish and Media Studies, Danielle moved to Atlanta, GA where she worked in post-production for Fox Sports South and as a freelance editor for TBS. Eventually, Danielle redirected her efforts into a passion that allows her to be the voice behind a prominent influence in our culture and society: screenwriting.

Danielle is a graduate of the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television MFA program at USC where she was a Grillo-Marxuach Family Fellow and hand selected participant in a one-time Development Master class with film and television producer, Brian Grazer. Sheis a 2019 Universal Writers Program Finalist, a 2018 Fox Writers Lab Finalist, a 2018 Austin Film Festival Second Rounder, and has made the 2018 Young & Hungry List and Hit List. In 2019 Danielle was selected as an HBO Access Writers Fellow. Danielle has worked as a Writers’ PA on GREY’S ANATOMY, a WGA Writers’ Trainee on Apple TV’s SWAGGER, a Staff Writer on MARVEL’s MOON KNIGHT, a Story Editor on Spectrum Originals dramedy called PANHANDLE, and a Co-Producer for PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN on HBO Max. Most recently, Danielle wrote the Lifetime feature film CAUGHT IN HIS WEB (2022), executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg and starring Garcelle Beauvais. Currently, Danielle serves as a Supervising Producer for RIVERDALE on the CW. As the only tomboy in a family of mostly women, Danielle loves to write about rebels who march to the beat of their own drum.

Danielle is a die-hard Nike fanatic, a self-proclaimed numerologist, and a dog mommy to her Shepherd mix named Skye.
