Danielle is a former AAU basketball player and D1 Track and Field athlete turned writer/producer from Alexandria, Virginia. As the only tomboy in a family of mostly women, Danielle loves to write about rebels who march to the beat of their own drum. After graduating from The University of Virginia where she studied Spanish and Media Studies, Danielle moved to Atlanta, GA where she worked in post-production for Fox Sports South and as a freelance editor for NBA TV. Eventually, Danielle redirected her efforts into a passion that allows her to be the voice behind a prominent influence in our culture and society: screenwriting.
Danielle is a graduate of the John Wells Division of Writing for Screen & Television MFA program at USC where she was a Grillo-Marxuach Family Fellow and hand selected participant in a one-time Development Master class with film and television producer, Brian Grazer. She is a 2019 Universal Writers Program Finalist, a 2018 Fox Writers Lab Finalist, a 2018 Austin Film Festival Second Rounder, and has made the 2018 Young & Hungry List and Hit List. In 2019 Danielle was selected as an HBO Access Writers Fellow and in 2022, selected as a Sony Showrunners Training Program Participant. Danielle started as a Writers’ PA on GREY’S ANATOMY, and has since worked on a range of shows, including Apple TV’s SWAGGER, MARVEL’s MOON KNIGHT, PANHANDLE, RIVERDALE, and PRETTY LITTLE LIARS on Max. Danielle wrote the Lifetime feature film CAUGHT IN HIS WEB, executive produced by Whoopi Goldberg. Most recently, Danielle served as Co-Executive Producer for ALERT: MISSING PERSONS UNIT on Fox.
Danielle is a die-hard Nike fanatic, a self-proclaimed numerologist, and a dog mommy to her Shepherd mix named Skye.
